Yuzen Dyeing Gold Leaf Application - Pink Visiting Kimono!! Second Generation Koutarou Kawamura - Traditional Crafts - Pure Silk
This is a single item listing for a formal silk kimono (awase).
This is a Yuzen-style dyed piece by the second-generation master craftsman, Kyutaro Kawamura, a designated Traditional Craftsman of Kyoto Prefecture.
The craftsman's skill is evident in the scattered rice-grain pattern and the delicate lines of the stencil dyeing, creating a supremely elegant look.
The lining and cuffs are also decorated with the scattered rice-grain pattern for a stylish touch!
Although difficult to see in the photos, the fabric itself has a very fine gold thread woven throughout, giving it a subtle sparkle and a beautiful, almost golden aura.
The subdued pink, close to cherry blossom color, is also a rare shade.
A stylish masterpiece perfect for spring!
We hope you will warmly welcome this piece into your wardrobe!
