Description
Rare vintage Viking Glass Arlington Smooth Glimmer fairy lamp in gorgeous Persimmon Orange. This hard-to-find two-piece art glass candle lamp has a rich fiery orange color that absolutely glows in natural light and displays a striking fluorescent reaction under UV/black light consistent with cadmium-containing vintage glass. The smooth paneled dome fits into the substantial pedestal base, creating the classic Viking Glimmer form. Beautiful displayed unlit or illuminated with an LED/tea light, as shown. Approx. 5 tall. Complete 2-piece top and base. Excellent vintage display condition. Please review all photos closely for condition and details; photos are part of the description. Minor manufacturing characteristics and age-related wear may be present in vintage handmade/molded glass. One bubble noticed in base. An incredibly beautiful piece for collectors of Viking Art Glass, fairy lamps, glimmers, Persimmon glass, cadmium glass, UV reactive glass, glowing glass and Mid-Century Modern decor. Fantastic for use in a fall or Halloween themed decor.
