VINTAGE VISTA ALEGRE FRUIT FANTASY LARGE 10 1/8 SERVING BOWL - MADE IN PORTUGAL  *** PLEASE READ DETAILED CONDITION NOTE & VIEW ALL PHOTOS BEFORE PURCHASING ***  Up for sale is a vintage, large salad/serving bowl by Vista Alegre (Portugal) in the discontinued Fruit Fantasy pattern (circa 1995). This vibrant piece features a lovely hand-painted cherry and pear motif over bright blue and yellow bands.  While it has cosmetic imperfections on the interior, the exterior graphics remain incredibly bright and colorful, making this a fantastic display piece for a country kitchen, hutch, or as a catch-all bowl. There are NO chips, NO cracks, and NO flea bites along the rim or base.  - COSMETIC DEFECT: The interior bottom of the bowl features heavy glaze crazing (fine spiderweb lines in the clear coat) that has absorbed organic matter over time, resulting in visible dark/brownish staining along the hairline cracks (see close-up photos).  - EXTERIOR: The outer hand-painted pattern remains vivid, glossed, and completely free of this staining.
