This plain fabric in bellflower purple can be worn for auspicious occasions or solemn events depending on how you pair it with an obi.
Pair it with a formal obi of gold or silver for celebratory events.
Pair it with a black mourning obi for Buddhist services.
Pair it with a gray patterned or lotus flower obi for memorial services.
It can also be made into a versatile solid color kimono for tea ceremonies.

There are small dyeing imperfections on the left edge, two places slightly above the dyed area.
This is the area with the Akamaru seal.
The dyeing imperfections are so minor that they are easily overlooked unless closely inspected. We believe they will not be an issue if the fabric is cut during tailoring so that these areas are not visible.
