Vintage carved onyx or alabaster horse head bookend features a translucent white and cream stone with natural banded veining. The stylized equine bust is mounted to a matching stone base, creating a heavy and functional decorative piece for a library or office shelf. Small chips are visible along the edges of the base and the back corner. Minor surface scuffs and small dark spots are present. Rusted screws on underside.
