In 2005, Sébastien Kopp and François Morillion founded VEJA as an adventure to take on new challenges. Shortly after launching, they began trading with top select shops worldwide. They use organic and recycled materials, and the soles are made from natural rubber, both sourced through fair trade. Some shoes are made from fabric recycled from plastic bottles. Production takes place in Brazilian factories, incorporating new technologies into their minimalist designs.
