Serviced and fully functional Aiwa TP-VS650 monaural cassettecorder

Overview: This is a monaural tape recorder that has been made lighter by integrating the chassis and mechanism block, and can also be used for slightly longer meeting recordings. The unit I am offering has been serviced for stable operation, although it is priced higher.

Features:
- Double speed mode. You can record for 90 minutes on one side of a 90-minute tape.
- Microphone sensitivity switching. Normally, use the standard setting. Switching to dictation reduces microphone sensitivity.
- Noise reduction (band-limited recording). Normally, use it in the off position. When turned on, high frequencies are cut during recording.
- Voice activation (voice-activated recording). When turned on, the motor stops if the surroundings are silent for 5 seconds or more during recording, and starts when sound is detected. Normally, use it in the off position.
- Continuously variable playback speed adjustment
- Tape counter
- External microphone terminal
- Cue & Review
- Automatic stop at tape end during recording and playback
- Combined earphone and headphone audio output
- External power terminal (3V, unified polarity #1)

Repair Details: Please refer to images 6, 7, and 8.

Notes:
- This sale includes only the main unit and strap. Please prepare your own recording tape and 2 AA batteries separately.
- There are quite a few scratches. Please refer to images 4 and 5.
- The price has been increased due to the increased effort involved. Price reduction requests will be ignored unless competitors offering equivalent maintenance appear. The price may be reduced at my discretion, but the minimum will be 5500 yen.
- In this unit, the L and R of the earphone jack distribute a single audio signal through a 10Ω resistor. Therefore, when headphones are connected, both sides will sound, and it will work with either a 2-pole or 3-pole monaural earphone. As this is a monaural cassette recorder, it is naturally not stereo.

Packaging and Shipping: Approximately 250g, over 3cm thick. It will be shipped via YuYu-Mercari Plus. Please note that this unit is 37mm thick, so shipping methods that rely on post-in, such as Yu-Packet Post, are not possible.
