20-7H T-52 / PVC Pipe (Water Pipe) Shakuhachi 2 Shaku 0 Sun, 7 Holes (Chu-Meli)

New

・ Standard frequency A=440Hz, tuning pipe (equal temperament pipe)

・ Uses high-quality HT pipe (brown) with excellent heat and pressure resistance, durability, and a moderate weight and mouthpiece diameter.

・ Not only waterproof, but also worry-free about cracking due to drying, making it suitable for leaving in your car or everyday use.

・ Performance comparable to bamboo shakuhachi... for practice by beginners as well as intermediate and advanced players.

・ Approximately 61cm

・ Approximately 216g... not too light, with appropriate weight and balance.

・ Tongue surface angle: Approximately 25 degrees
・ Chin rest: Lightly shaved and processed.

・ 7 holes (0.5 hole: Chū-meri, 3.5 hole: Ō-meri)
・ Reason for choosing Chū-meri for the 0.5 hole (below the 1st hole) instead of Ō-meri... Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do starting with tsu can be played without meri, and it's easy to adjust to Ō-meri as well as Chū-meri, so personally, I find this easier to play (recommended 7-hole configuration).

・ Water pipe markings removed, deliberately unpainted, leaving the calm azuki bean color of the material as is.
・ Scratches and dirt from sanding have been removed, and the gloss of the mouthpiece socket has been finished to a semi-gloss, matching the main body for a seamless look.
・ Beveled edges on the mouthpiece, butt end, and around each hole.

・ Outer diameter: Approximately 3.6cm
・ Inner diameter: Approximately 2.0cm

・ Mouthpiece cover (knitted)
