【Single Chair】 Hida Sangyo CRESCENT Arm Chair Solid Wood Toshiyuki Sasaki
299.00 $
Description
A masterpiece from Hida Sangyo (HIDA / Woodpecker Mark)
CRESCENT dining armchair.
A representative work by Japanese designer Toshimitsu Sasaki.
A popular model renowned for its comfort, so much so that it's called the chair you won't want to get up from.
Its beauty lies in the seamless form of the back and arms, created through advanced bentwood and carving techniques by Hida artisans.
The warmth unique to solid wood and the smooth feel of the arms, which seem to mold to your hands, give it a special presence that mass-produced furniture lacks.
The seat has a scooped-out design, ensuring comfortable seating even for long periods, despite being a wooden seat.
Natural wood also changes its hue depending on the light.
Purchased at KAGURA Kannai store.
