1. A computer-controlled machine shaves a 8mm diameter stainless steel rod to taper towards the tip.
2. Next, to increase hardness, the tip is heated to around 950°C and then quenched in oil to cool it.
3. The finished body, 12-24cm in length, is fitted into a handle made of ebony.
4. A stainless steel ferrule is attached to the joint to increase strength.
5. After that, the entire piece is patiently polished with sandpaper, etc., which eliminates the step between the body, ferrule, and handle, creating a seamless unity. This process also brings out a luster and a smooth touch.


To ensure a long lifespan, please avoid using dishwashers and dryers and do not leave the chopsticks submerged in water for extended periods. This can place a significant burden on the serving chopsticks and shorten their lifespan.
