Young Sansho Leaves

As spring arrives, tender young sansho leaves begin to sprout on the sansho tree, bringing the breath of spring to your dining table with their vibrant green color. The aroma of young sansho leaves is particularly strong and invigorating at this time of year.

The flower meanings associated with young sansho (sansho) are primarily health and charm. This stems from its health benefits as a spice and traditional medicine (health), and its unique refreshing aroma and spiciness that captivates people (charm). The berries are also considered a symbol of prosperity.
