Morishio (salt molding) is a traditional Japanese method of warding off evil. Salt is believed to have powerful purifying properties and has been used as a protective charm since ancient times. The practice of Morishio involves mounding coarse salt in a pyramid shape on a small plate and placing a pair at the entrance. This is not only believed to ward off evil but also to attract good fortune and ensure a steady stream of customers, serving as a guardian for luck and prosperity.

* This set allows you to create salt mounds approximately 4 cm wide and 4.5 cm high. Approximately 15-20g of salt is used per mound.
* Coarse salt is not included in this set.

I am selling this set as I have two and will not be using this one. It is new and unused, in beautiful condition. The contents have not been removed from the packaging, but please refrain from purchasing if you are overly sensitive or concerned about such details.

Please feel free to message me with any questions or inquiries.
