▪️40's 【WWII】 SAILOR SHIRT Sailor shirt, 1940s

From the details and design, it's from around the 1940s.

【Size/Color】
Length (from collar): 60cm
Shoulder width (from shoulder seam to seam): 43cm
Width (measured at armpits): 50cm
Sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 64cm
Sleeve + Neck length (from center of neck to cuff): 80cm

I (165cm/53kg, slim build) could wear it with a good look.

Based on the actual measurements, it seems wearable for those with a slim build, but it has no stretch, so it might be difficult to wear for those with less flexibility.

Depending on preference and how you wear it, it's recommended for slim people around ~165cm tall!!!

It's a slightly navy-ish black.

【Condition】
It's a very old wool product, but there are no noticeable moth-eaten holes, and the sewing and fabric are sturdy!

【Remarks】
Almost the same design is still being followed, and new ones are available, but this is a sailor shirt thought to have been used during World War II.

As shown in image ①, it's usually hidden by the collar, but there's a stencil on the back that's fading, which is interesting in balance with the stitching, and there's also a Cleveland inscription on the hem lining.

I bought it after seeing the captain of DAMNED wearing it well, but as mentioned above, it's difficult to wear, so I'm selling it. I think it's okay for people with a build similar to mine, but I recommend it for those who are smaller for ease of wear.

Since not many people wear it, it gives a fresh impression, and it completes a stylish look no matter what items you combine it with.
