Washington Forge was particularly known for its vintage carving sets and steak knives, often with Bakelite or Faux Bakelite handles. The brand was also known for its diverse lines of cutlery, including Town & Country and Forgecraft brands.  The set is in excellent vintage condition and the handles are tightly secured. Very slight signs of wear and slight surface scratches typical of age. My Opa was their original owner. He was the main holiday chef in our family. Only used during very special holidays. From a smoke free household.
