Description
This stunning antique Staffordshire jardinière bowl is attributed to A. Wood & Co., a respected English pottery house active between 1870 and 1928. Featuring a bold cobalt blue glaze, hand-painted floral design, and an elegant aged brass rim, this piece is a beautiful example of late Victorian ceramic artistry. The base bears a slightly faded red underglaze crown-over-scroll mark and the hand-painted number B5461, identifying it as a piece from the Staffordshire tradition. Measuring 8 inches wide and 3 inches high, this low-profile bowl is ideal for display, as a centerpiece, or as a decorative cachepot. Light age-related crazing throughout the glaze adds authenticity and charm.
