Description
The Victorians had a utensil for everything. This tomato server works perfectly for picking up sliced tomatoes or even mini-pancakes. Slotted to allow juices to run off, and it’s round, like a sandwich-sized tomato slice. Authentic Mother-of-pearl handle has a lustrous iridescent glow & flashes hues of pink, purple & peach. Ferrule has a pattern made of 3-4 rows of small dots & it is stamped STERLING; server piece is silver-plated with a pretty leaf & berry pattern. This Victorian piece shows some wear but given its age, it’s in great condition & will elevate your luncheon or dinner. Smoke-free & pet-free home. To keep tarnish away, gently wash & dry by hand, wrap in cloth & store in a plastic baggie.
