Deluxe Purple Martin Gourd Birdhouse for Garden Backyard Decor

Increase the housing options for your favorite migratory bird by placing this Two-Piece Martin Gourd with Crescent Starling Resistant Entrance Hole in it. This innovative gourd adds a timeless look to your existing martin colony, combining it with modern materials for durability. A front and back half interlock to form this shelter, securing at the top with a single screw for quick assembly. The 7 diameter chamber and crescent-shaped entry deter larger birds from nesting here, while still allowing adult martins passage. Perforations below the crescent entry allow you to alter it to a round opening, and a molded canopy above it directs rain away from the nest. Dual slots on the base of the gourd allow any captured water to drain, and the beige color lends a natural tone to the item while keeping it cool during the hot summer months. Slide a hanging rod or other hook through the top hole on this piece, to place it on a gourd rack or suspend it beneath your existing martin house. The plastic body withstands use for many seasons, and the two-piece construction makes cleaning simple. Offer martins an additional housing choice with this Two-Piece Martin Gourd with Crescent Starling Resistant Entrance Hole. Assembly required. Made in the USA.
