Extremely rare work!! Not on DVD ❣️ "Legendary Madam" Complete 4-Volume Set VHS Video
299.00 $
Description
This is a complete 4-volume set of videotapes for the drama Densetsu no Madam starring Kaori Momoi.
This is a rare and famous work that has not been released on DVD (perhaps due to the two lead actors having a no co-starring relationship, which is a sensitive issue for the work itself), despite its popularity.
It is a difficult-to-obtain work that you will rarely find on Amazon or the internet, so how about this opportunity for those who wanted to see it or for collectors?
Synopsis
Densetsu no Madam (The Legendary Madam) is a television drama produced by Yomiuri TV and broadcast on the Nippon TV network from April 14, 2003, to June 23, 2003.
Original work by Junko Yokoya. Broadcast every Monday from 10:00 PM to 10:54 PM, for a total of 11 episodes.
The story is set in Madam Mari, a completely custom-made wedding dress shop that is so exclusive, no one even knows where it is located. A rumor has spread that brides who wear wedding dresses made by the shop's owner, Madam Mari, will find happiness. The drama focuses on the human stories of clients who visit the shop for various reasons, and Madam Mari's own hidden past.
The producing station, Yomiuri TV, has never re-broadcast the series.
Guest appearances include Hiroki Matsukata and Yoshihiko Hakamada, adding to the star-studded production.
Theme Song: Hitomi Yaida Kodoku na Cowboy
Behind-the-Scenes Story
Although Hiromi Nagasaku and Kaori Momoi co-starred in the 2003 drama Densetsu no Madam (Nippon TV series), the story was significantly rewritten due to Momoi's demands regarding the script. As a result, Nagasaku's scenes were cut, and many of her lines were changed.
Despite this, Nagasaku performed her role without complaint. She also offered words of sympathy to the staff who apologized to her. Although Nagasaku handled the situation calmly on set, she declared no co-starring with Momoi after filming wrapped.
