Shocking Non-Stop Fight! The legendary masterpiece of Kung Fu cinema, miraculously revived!!
Celebrating Yasuaki Kurata's 50th Anniversary of Returning to Japan, this 2K Remastered Complete Edition includes two new short films and is released on Blu-ray for the first time.

Yasuaki Kurata, an international action legend who befriended Bruce Lee and battled with legends like Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Donnie Yen... his masterpiece is now revived on Blu-ray!

Fifty years ago, the Dragon Boom swept across Japan following the massive hit of Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon. Approximately 30 Hong Kong Kung Fu films were released in a single year. Among them, Return of the Dragon, starring Yasuaki Kurata as the formidable villain Black Jaguar, was the only film that delivered non-stop, hard-hitting action and achieved immense popularity, rivaling Bruce Lee's own films. However, this masterpiece, which was said to have elevated action to an art form, was long considered a lost film due to damage to the master negative, making re-release and HD conversion impossible...

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Yasuaki Kurata's Return to Japan, the film has been remastered in 2K from the best existing 99-minute complete version, and Return of the Dragon has miraculously returned to the Japanese screen, now available on Blu-ray for the first time!

Previous VHS and DVD releases in Japan were shortened 92-minute versions with Dean Seki's scenes cut. This release restores those scenes, making it a Blu-ray of the 2K Remastered Complete Edition.

This Special Edition includes the new short films Yume Monogatari (2023/15 min) and its sequel Yume Monogatari: Dakkan (2024/20 min), starring and executive produced by Yasuaki Kurata, integrated after the main feature of Return of the Dragon! Witness Yasuaki Kurata's latest action after 50 years!
