This is a handmade piece, not machine-perfect, and it has the kind of detail that makes modern factory lace look like it gave up before lunch.  It does have flaws: I found 8 holes/open breaks, plus some loose/frayed areas, so it is best for repair, shabby cottage display, layering, photo styling, textile collecting, or upcycling. Even with the damage, the crochet pattern is gorgeous and still has a romantic vintage farmhouse/cottagecore look.
