The HB Ligature is a product of Hérouard & Bénard, a long-established French manufacturer. The Harmony model is a metal, two-screw, reverse-ligature with two small protrusions on the part that holds the reed.
The reed vibrates well, producing a rich and resonant sound. The tone is also pleasantly full and well-balanced.
The manufacturer's original lacquer finishes (GL, AGL) produce a straightforward tone without excessive coloration. The plated finishes (SP, GP, PGP) are Japanese specifications plated in Japan, which are visually beautiful and produce a brilliant tone while retaining the characteristics of the HB ligature.
Recommended for all musicians regardless of genre or style, as well as beginners, as it is a versatile ligature.
