This is a SmallRig L-shaped plate grip for cameras. It improves the feel of holding the camera and enhances stability during vertical shooting. It is Arca-Swiss compatible, allowing for smooth attachment to tripods.
Personally, I find the magnetic storage for the hex wrench to be a great feature.
There are no particularly noticeable scratches or dirt, but there is some feeling of use. The performance is not affected and it can be used without any issues.
