Description
Vintage 1960's Tosco Liquoristica Grappa Lucia ceramic cat decanter mini bottle from Tavarnuzze, Firenze. This charming hand-painted porcelain figurine features a grey and white striped cat with yellow eyes and a slightly whimsical expression. The base retains the original paper label identifying the contents as Grappa Lucia. A unique piece of Italian distillery history, perfect for collectors of barware or feline-themed decor. The Top label is the intact official Italian Customs/excise tax stamp (sigillo fiscale) which make this highly collectible (most were destroyed when opening the wine decanter). 3.5 Tall Note the visible crazing throughout the glaze and a small chip on the base, which add to its authentic vintage character. The original tax stamp is still attached to the top.
