This item is new and unused, with the cardboard insert still inside to maintain its shape (see photos 6-8).
There is a slight mark that looks like a scratch, though it is not very noticeable (see photo 9).
This is one of the few hats that could be obtained by winning a rock-paper-scissors game against a staff member, which was offered to a limited number of customers who spent a certain amount or more at a restaurant in Chukyo Racecourse over 10 years ago on the day of the G1 Champions Cup.
I believe this is a rare item.
The color is a shade of purple.
Perhaps it's the corduroy material?
The color appears slightly different outdoors and indoors.
