Rare Vintage Made in Austria Double-Strand Molded Cream Whale Bead Necklace – 22”  Up for sale is a beautiful, highly unique piece of mid-century collectible costume jewelry. This stunning double-strand necklace features rare, molded cream-colored plastic focal beads beautifully detailed with carved/raised whale motifs. Unlike more common floral patterns from this era, marine life designs are incredibly hard to find, making this a fantastic crossover piece for vintage jewelry lovers and nautical collectors alike.  The cream whale beads are paired with alternating frosted geometric segments and smoky-topaz glass spacer beads treated with a shimmering Aurora Borealis (AB) iridescent finish that catches the light beautifully.  The traditional metal box clasp is clearly stamped Made Austria Measures approximately 22 inches from end to end (comfortable matinee drape).  Unique Details: Exquisite textured whale detailing on the ivory-toned focal beads.  Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear consistent with age.
