Modeled after Salewa's Warthog, which was born as an ice piton, it was nicknamed Ibo Inoshishi (warty wild boar) because it was effective on frozen grassy sections often found on Japanese winter rock faces, and has been favored by alpine climbers.

This item belonged to my father, who loved climbing. The purchase date is unknown.
I am selling it as part of decluttering.
