Vintage JAPAN Filigree Flower Hair Clip Smoky Rhinestone Silver Tone

Estate jewelry tray inspection. Saturday afternoon.  You're holding a vintage Japanese filigree hair clip centered by a large smoky-brown faceted rhinestone.  The ornate openwork flower does the selling here. Layered silver-tone scrolls radiate around the raised crystal center, while the long split clip slides securely into the hair for a dramatic old-school finishing piece.  Marked JAPAN.  Silver-tone filigree flower design.  Large smoky-brown faceted glass rhinestone.  Long split hair-clip mechanism.  Dimensional openwork construction.  The exact piece shown is included.  Gerald Dingleberry examined the center stone and asked whether the flower had been exposed to industrial smoke.  I needed to be somewhere else.  Comes from a smoke-free lair.
