Ivory 100% silk long gown with hand embroidery. There is a stain on the right side and right sleeve (photos 3 and 4).
Comes with a waist tie.
☆ This item is in the style that was popular after the war as a souvenir or export item for Western countries in Japan and Hong Kong. It uses very luxurious natural materials, and the floral patterns are extremely valuable, sewn stitch by stitch by craftsmen, not by machine.
☆ Regarding the fabric, it is unclear whether the uneven texture is by design, like yoryu or crepe fabric, or if the silk has shrunk due to long-term storage or washing.
☆ If you want to remove wrinkles, it seems best to use a low temperature setting with a pressing cloth and avoid steam as much as possible. However, this crumpled texture is also part of the vintage flavor.
