MIRECOURT ATELIER A.MOINIER FRANCE
The string instrument workshop Alain Moinier in Mirecourt, France, is the predecessor of the Aubert-Lutherie company, which is world-renowned for its violin bridges. This paperweight is said to be a limited edition item produced in small quantities several decades ago.
I purchased multiple units about 15 years ago from an acquaintance living in France, and I have carefully kept two as spares at home.
Although I purchased it as new, upon arrival, I noticed fine scuff marks all over the surface, possibly due to the nature of the material (acrylic?) or manufacturing process. These are only visible when held up to the light (and do not show up in photos), so I believe they are not noticeable in appearance.
Shipping will be on days other than Tuesdays and Thursdays.
