【With Certificate】 New French Viola by Alain Moinier, Made in 1995

ATELIER Alain MOINIER Classic Model
Mirecourt, France - 1995
16 inches (408mm) Viola

The string instrument workshop Atelier Alain Moinier in Mirecourt, France, is the predecessor to Aubert-Lutherie, famous for its bridges.
As expected from a workshop that reigns as a top brand for bridges, it's evident that excellent wood has been used.
This masterpiece, crafted using the traditional Mirecourt methods of over 200 years and the techniques unique to Aubert with over 150 years of tradition, has earned a high reputation as a true contemporary French instrument.

★Classic Model
This is a classic model viola from the traditional Alain Moinier company, finished with a somewhat hard orange-red spirit varnish.
The bridge is the original Aubert Deluxe with a double stamp of Alain Moinier.
Currently, it is sold by Aubert as the J.B. Vuillaume model for ¥990,000.
I believe it's a strong contender against E.H. Roth's #62 (¥880,000) to #71 (¥1,210,000).

It has been played to some extent since its creation, has had time to settle, and is stable in a good environment.
It possesses a thick, powerful, and characteristic viola sound and tone. We encourage you to play it extensively with confidence.
Once you get your hands on this instrument, you'll likely find it difficult to return to less expensive instruments. It's that good.

How about this opportunity to acquire a genuine viola (contemporary French)?
As this viola is rarely available on the used market due to its limited distribution, please don't miss out.

Fully adjusted (bridge adjustment, peg adjustment, soundpost adjustment, polishing, cleaning, overall adjustment).
There are some minor scratches and dirt from use, but it is in clean condition overall.
It is strung with new, top-of-the-line gut strings, Pirastro Olive (a set costs ¥50,000-¥60,000), and a Jarger A string.
The tailpiece has a lightweight titanium adjuster.

It has been adjusted and maintained, so you can use it immediately after tuning.
