Brush McCoy Pottery onyx brown drip table lamp. Lamp is urn shape, has beautiful coloring, and is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks, crazing present and consistent with age and material. Nearing antique, lamp was made in the USA between the mid 1920’s-1930’s. Works perfectly as expected and wiring was updated at some point in the past; likely 1970’s, maybe 80’s, by the look of the plug. Electrical could be updated again to today’s standards. Lamp measures 8.5” tall to top of pottery, 11” tall to top of socket , 5” long and wide with a base measurement of 4” x 4”. Weighs 2 lb 10 oz. Was being used with a bulb-only shade, so the socket on the lamp doesn’t have a harp. New socket can be put on or lamp can be continued to be used with bulb shade.
